The Ultimate Weight Loss Plan is the result of over 30 years experience helping people lose weight and keep that weight off!

In 1980 I started training athletes. I have been involved in and with athletics my whole life, so working with athletes was the logical, next-step in my life. The economy was in ruins and very few people knew what a personal trainer was. Significantly, fewer still knew what a private, sport-specific strength and conditioning coach was.

Many still don’t!

Well, I was one of the first personal, sport-specific strength and fitness coaches, particularly in my area of the country. The response was immediate and the demand staggering, we literally went from a $50 investment in a mailing to $30,000 per month in revenue within 6 months!

Astonishing!

What was even more interesting, particularly at the time and given our focus, top-level amateur and professional athletes, was the immediate demand we perceived from friends and family of the athletes. Over and over again we heard the same words:

“If you can do that for my son (friend, daughter, cousin, whomever), what can you do for me?”

Well, being an athlete by nature and a marketing guy right behind, it didn’t take being hit by a 2 x 4 or a brick for me to see the big picture. The really big picture!

People wanted help with their fitness goals and they were willing to pay a considerable fee to get real and lasting results from a personal fitness coach specializing in…them!

In fact, given our success with athletes, we grew from leasing space in another fitness facility to building out own, all within 4 months of sending out that first mailing.

So, what is The Ultimate Weight Loss Plan? It is the logical progression over time from a pure strength, fitness, and conditioning focus to a personal training business focusing solely on the individual client’s needs…one at a time!

Over the years we have grown from:

  • Strength training and conditioning top-level amateur and professional athletes
  • Helping people achieve their weight loss goals, primarily through fitness and lifestyle adjustments (diets do NOT work!)
  • Assisting people recovering from traumatic injuries after physical therapy has been exhausted
  • Working with those individuals attempting to overcome chronic pain, particularly chronic back pain
  • Assisting new mothers lose weight after childbirth…and keep it off
  • From there to…well, you name it

In other words, we have become a full-service, personal fitness business catering to the individual needs of each and every client!

  • First, we will meet with you one on one, face-to-face, either in person if logistically possible or online, and discuss just what you would like to accomplish
  • Then, once we have all the information and a good feel for where you want to end up…we take you through a series of tests to determine a baseline
  • Next, we develop a program just for you, based on everything you’ve told us and all we have learned during testing
  • From there, we walk you through the program from beginning until final achievement, adjusting the program as your body adapts
  • Finally, into an ongoing maintenance program with ongoing support for life

Significantly, whether we are talking about a weight loss program or strength training, a cardiovascular fitness training regimen or a power lifting program, a health maintenance routine or pain relief exercise solution, the steps are remarkably similar.

Ultimately, the program is about you, developed for you and tailored to your needs!

We do not do one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter fitness training or weight loss programs!
